Roy Oswalt completed the game without help from the bullpen as the Dart
Weasels beat the Chainsaw Proctologists by a score of 4 to 2.
Dart tallied 2 runs in the 5th inning when they had 4 base hits. The key
offensive moment was provided by Mike Lowell who deflated the spirits of the
home town crowd when he lined a single scoring two baserunners. Dart had a
total of 12 hits for the game.
Oswalt(5-5) picked up the complete game victory, allowing 2 runs. John
Thomson(1-7) suffered the loss. He was unable to control the Dart offense
and allowed 12 hits and 3 walks in 6 and 2/3 innings.
The Dart ballclub's record now stands at 28-23. Rick Graves was unhappy with
his club's recent performance. 'We can't keep losing games' he said. 'It
gets to be embarrassing after a while.'
